Also present are the papers of Mary Elizabeth (Chamberlin) Wilson of Gerrardstown and of Kabletown, Jefferson County, W. Va., including correspondence, 1844-1894, and scrapbooks; papers of Hall Wilson of Gerrardstown and Kabletown, including correspondence, 1867-1910, loose accounts, 1859-1915, and other materials; and papers of Charles Lee Wilson of Kabletown, San Francisco, Calif., and Astoria, Ore., including correspondence, 1870-1889, describing his life and work in California and Oregon and his travels in the Washington Territory, 1885-1888, accounts, 1875-1889, Hampden-Sydney College materials, 1871-1874, and general miscellany. This collection consists of correspondence (1868-1893) among members of the Wilson family, including primarily letters from John Wilson (1868-1882) while he was residing in Montana (1868-1869) and Iowa (1868-1882). In his letters he discusses family matters, his freighting business between Fort Benton and Virginia City, and the people and economic conditions of towns in Montana and of Algona, Iowa.

This is a memoir compiled by Irene Russell Blasdell about her family in 1991. It includes copies of pictures of the family. Included in the collection is a hand-written letter from Ms. Blasdell in Bellingham, WA. In the letter dated Nov. 9, 1996, she states she is 86 years old. She wrote about her early years in Whatcom County.

The scrapbook consists of photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and ephemera documenting the life of Rev. and Mrs. Wilson. The bulk of the material deals with E.C.'s ministerial career, documenting all his assignments. Items range from 1905 report cards for Rev. Wilson to letters of condolence after his death. Later entries document Mrs. Wilson's work in Methodist organizations as well as her attendance at various ceremonies on behalf of her husband. The last page of the scrapbook is a copy of Mrs. Wilson's obituary.
