There are pencilled notes in some of the volumes by Lionel de Jersey Harvard, to whom Munn loaned the volumes in 1913-1914. Other notes are by Arthur Cushman McGiffert, who took the course in 1911-1912. There are some handwritten notes by Munn explaining what books he used in which year of the course
