Seien wir ehrlich: <<Füüf Narre im Charre>>, das zweite Rumpelstilz-Album, ist musikhistorisch natürlich <<nur>> von nationaler Bedeutung und hat außerhalb der Schweiz keinerlei Spuren hinterlassen. -- Doch Rumpelstilz sind sowohl die Auslöser des immer noch anhaltenden Mundart-Booms, als auch dessen erste Stars. Der Berner Troubadour Mani Matter legte den Grundstein, Ihre Kinder und Udo Lindenberg verbanden in Deutschland schon früher deutsche Texte mit internationaler Rock-Musik, doch in der Schweiz etablierten erst Rumpelstilz die Gattung Mundart-Rock. Dafür nachdrücklich und mit weitestreichenden Folgen. -- Dazu kommt die für 1976 abenteuerliche Musikmischung aus Reggae, Jazz-Rock, Pop, Funk und Rock, und mit <<Kiosk>>, <<Teddybär>>, <<D'Rosmarie und i>> und <<Uf däm länge Wäg>> enthält dieses Meisterwerk gleich vier Evergreens schweizerischen Rock- und Pop-Schaffens.
