Razvoj ritmične gimnastike v svetu do leta 1963 = Development of the rhytmicgymnatsic in the world until 1963 by Branka Vajngerl( )

1 edition published in 2006 in Slovenian and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The source of rhythmic gymnastics can be traced back to the so-called rhythmic schools and studios that sprung up all over the world from 1900 onwards, where they taught "aesthetic gymnastics" of Delsartre, "rhythmic gymnastic" of Dalcros and "free dance" of the Duncan sisters. We also have to consider the programme specificities, expression forms, methods and means developed by the individual organizations, also in public appearances, conventions ("Murnik's gymnastic dances"), gimnaestrades, spartakiades and other globally-known performances

Pregled ritmične gimnastike v Sloveniji in Jugoslaviji od leta 1963 do 1980 = The genesis of rhythmic gymnastics in Slovenia and Yugoslavia from 1963 to 1980 by Branka Vajngerl( )

1 edition published in 2007 in Slovenian and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Since 1963 until the present day rhythmic gymnastics in Slovenia have witnessed the passing of different eras. The 1963-1980 period was marked by the first trainings for coaches and judges. The first republican and national championships took place. By 1980 the number of competing athletes and their quality gradually rose; however, the number of participating clubs was still low. The centres of this sport were Maribor and Ljubljana. The international recognition and success of Slovenian rhythmic gymnastics was due to highly-skilled competitors from Belgrade as well as the first Slovenian womenćs national team members of the period: Branka Vajngerl, Milena Breznik, Frida Schliht, ivana Potočnik and Vesna Gregori
