Analiza obremenitev in napora krilnih igralcev v rokometu : doktorska disertacija by Primož Pori( Book )

1 edition published in 2003 in Slovenian and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Povprečne absolutne vrednosti frekvence srca so bile statistično značilno višje na tekmah v c.o. 3:2:1 (158 [plus minus]9 ud/min - c.o. 6:0; 166 [plus minus]8 ud/min - c.o.3:2:1). Statistično značilno višje povprečne deleže nizkega napora (3 % -c.o. 6:0; 2 % - c.o. 3:2:1) in zmernega napora (31 % - c.o. 6:0; 18 % - c.o.3:2:1) smo zaznali na tekmah v c.o. 6:0. Povprečni deleži velikega napora (60 % - c.o. 6:0; 64 % - c.o. 3:2:1) in največjega napora (6 % - c.o. 6:0; 16 % - c.o. 3:2:1) so bili statistično značilno višji na tekmah v c.o. 3:2:1.
Basic kinematic differences in arm activity between two types of jump shot techniques in handball = Primerjava delovanja roke pri dveh različnih tehnikah strela v skoku pri rokometu by Primož Pori( )

2 editions published in 2003 in English and held by 3 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The aim of this study is to identify differences in some basic kinematic parameters of arm activity between two different jump shot (JS) techniques used in handball. We compared the jump shot performed after the take-off from the leg opposite to the throwing hand (JS1) and the jump shot performed after the take-off from the throwing-side leg (JS2). Ten top-level male handball players executed six JS (three shots of an each technique). Among all attemptsperformed, the two JS were chosen for each player, one for each technique, for further analysis. Two SVHS video cameras, operating at 25 frames per second, were used for the data acquisition. Data processing was performed by APAS (Ariel Dynamics, California, USA). The basic statistical parameters for variables were computed and t-test for paired dependent samples and analysis of variance were used to assess statistical significance of the differences between the kinematic variables. The release ball velocity was significantly greater in JS1. In spite of the significant differences in times necessary for reaching the peak velocity of the wrist, elbow and shoulder of the throwing arm, there were no significant differences among the maximal velocities in the mentioned joints. In the final points of take-off and release, there were statistically significant differences between the angles of shoulder and hip axes in transversal plane. The differences were probably due to the take-off styles. The JS1 enabling better energy transfer from the distal to proximal body parts and better use of elastic muscle and ligament capatities in shooting from the opposite leg

1 edition published in 2015 in Slovenian and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

The aim of the study was to analyse differences in the incidence of acyclic activities at male handball players who play in position of wing players in matches that are played with a zone defence 6:0 and 3:2:1. Sample of subjects included 12 junior wing players (body height 186+-4.5; body mass 79.9+-3.4; age 19.8+-2.1). The results of the analysis indicate that the wing players inmatches played with zonal defence 6:0 performed significantly more passes (61+-8.9) than in those played with the zone defence 3:2:1 (50+-7.9) (p = .001). On the contrary in matches played by the zone defence 3:2:1 was carried out significantly more "moving into free space" (15+-3.7 vs 8+-3.7, p = .000), "sliding forwards to the attacker" (23+-10.3 vs 7+-3.8, p=.000) and "tackling with attacker" (14+-6 vs 7+-2.3, p = .001). In the number of shots, jumps, fakesand piston movementćs statistically significant differences were not confirmed. Based on the results we can conclude that the game played with a variety of defences mutually differ in the frequency of typical acyclic activities carried out by the wing players in attack and defence

Gyrotonic expansion system - sodobna tehnologija funkcijske vadbe by Tina Jarc Šifrar( )

1 edition published in 2011 in Slovenian and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide
