Wright, Confederate soldier and lawyer of Wilmington, pertaining mostly to Reconstruction conditions and the practice of law in Wilmington; and from 1876-1879, there are a few letters pertaining to life at the University of the South. Prior to 1820, there are wills, business accounts, and a few scattered letters. Also, abstracts of sermons, poems, and articles written by J.W. Wright. Volumes consists of receipt books of Miss Mary Bridges, law notes of Joshua G. Wright, account books, scrapbooks, and the diary, 1859 and 1862, of Julius W. Wright
