In an upcoming release, users of OCLC WorldShare products such as WMS Circulation, Acquisitions, License Manager, Record Manager, and Collection Manager will be able to use their same OCLC Services account to sign in to Service Configuration. Users of WorldShare ILL have been using this option.
Select the bottom menu choice "Use Your OCLC Services Account" if you are a WorldShare user and would like to use the same Sign in for Service Configuration as you use to Sign in to WorldShare products. You will now be able to configure additional OCLC services such as WorldCat Local, WMS Circulation, WorldCat Registry, WorldShare ILL, WMS Institution, Article Exchange Custom, and OpenURL Resolvers.
Once selecting your Sign in option using your OCLC Services Account, an additional screen is presented to you to identify your institution.
After selecting your institution, the familiar Sign in screen is then presented where you can enter your User ID and Password. Once you have initially selected your institution from this screen, it will be saved and this screen will not be presented again.
A limitation in using your OCLC Services Account to access additional products in Service Configuration is that you can only configure a single institution during your session. To configure multiple institutions at once, you will need to continue using your WorldCat account.
Select the top menu choice "Sign in to Service Configuration" if you are an existing Service Configuration user and want to continue to use your existing WorldCat.org Account.
