Cet ouvrage rend compte des 44 interventions qui ont analysé les risques de déstructuration des modèles nationaux d'organisation du sport de haut niveau et/ou professionnel notamment en France et dans le contexte de la décentralisation. L'hypothétique régulation par les États des initiatives et des stratégies des clubs et des collectivités territoriales, les recompositions en cours dans le domaine des relations Europe-État-Régions-Eurorégions en matière sportive, et les coordinations à inventer aux échelons infrarégionaux articulent les communications. Autant de thèmes qui posent tout à la fois les questions cruciales de la spécificité de l'activité sportive, de la contribution du sport à l'identité des territoires, des synergies et des innovations à réaliser pour former l'ensemble des acteurs du sport. The ambition that leads this thesis is as original as fascinating: analyzing the roleof the social organization of the Gabonese sport in the context of a developing country, themode of expression of the local people in the colonial period, and the element of integrationin the concert of nations after the independences. This research, in general, seeks tocomprehend sport organizations in Gabon. It is all about understanding the implication andthe impact of sport federations in Gabon from its independence (1960) to now. A trip in thepast reveals us that sport federations are separated from the traditional culture and modernculture. Therefore, we can see why they are out of touch with the current economic and socioculturalneeds of the moment. As we travel back in time, the purpose of this thesis ismultidisciplinary and comparative, based on the methods of the sociology of sport. It seeks todecrypt historical, social, political, economic and institutional conditions; and the logic of thepresent actors, so to understand the consequences that follow, and are testimonies of a uniqueorganization a francophone area (Gabon, Cameroon, and Senegal). This thesis informs aboutthe sport policies. Who organizes? How? In whose interest? These principal questions lead usto the overall problematic: Why sport organizations in Gabon favor more imported models oforganization. In more detail, how the transposition of the French model influences sportpolicies in Gabon; and how does it interact with the local particularities. Far from being aGabonese specificity solely, the colonial input remains a substantial propriety in youngAfrican states
Normativité de l'acceptation de l'homosexualité dans le sport : étude des déterminants psychologiques, interpersonnels et environnementaux des attitudes des sportifs envers les gays et les lesbiennes by Anthony Mette( )

L'objectif de cette recherche est d'étudier, chez les sportifs, les déterminants des attitudes envers l'homosexualité. Au regard des niveaux de Doise, il est attendu la proposition d'un modèle prédictif des déterminants à différents niveaux : intra personnel, interpersonnel, positionnel et idéologique. Le travail comporte 4 volets : 1) une étude préliminaire auprès de 322 personnes permettant la validation d'un outil de mesure des attitudes envers les gays et les lesbiennes, 2) une étude auprès de 1002 sportifs analysant les déterminants des attitudes notamment en distinguant le sport masculin et le sport féminin, 3) une étude sur la mise au jour des normes envers l'homosexualité, 4) une étude auprès de 572 footballeurs proposant un modèle prédictif des attitudes envers les gays et les lesbiennes, incluant le rôle de l'entraineur et des processus collectifs. Dans l'ensemble, les résultats indiquent une nette différence dans l'acceptation de l'homosexualité en fonction du sexe. La normativité est le principal prédicteur des attitudes, tendant vers une grande acceptation chez les femmes et une conservation de l'hétérosexisme chez les hommes. Ainsi, dans le cadre du sport masculin, l'homosexualité apparaît comme un stigmate non protégé, lié directement à la dynamique de groupe. De plus, l'hétérosexisme est étroitement lié au sexisme, à la religion et au racisme. En ce sens, il paraît primordial de mettre en place des actions de sensibilisation et de formations auprès des athlètes et des entraîneurs. Ces actions pourront s'effectuer sous l'angle général de la gestion de la diversité dans le sport

This dissertation offers to explain the growth and success of Christianity among urbanpopulations in China, by analyzing affiliations and conversions as the results of relativelyrational and contextualized choices. Institutional evolutions, cultural dispositions, situationalcontingencies and the process of religious initiation leading to the endorsement of Christianbeliefs and organizations are examined mostly from interviews and observations conducted indiverse Christian organizations in Shanghai. Reminding of the gradual socio-politicallegitimation of Christianity since more than a century, this dissertation firstly shows thataffiliations are made possible because of individual's adhesion to cosmopolitanrepresentations and aspirations, as well as their experience of geographical and socialmobility. Affiliations are then resulting from the identification of resources for personal andfamily development within an innovating as well as morally conservative religiousorganization. Conversion finally results from the individual experiment of a religiousinitiation, through which both the organization and its beliefs gain a new kind of legitimacy,appearing as divine in the eyes of the convert, and through which converts are achieving acommunity-centered subjectivation. Despite strong homogeneity, affiliation-conversionprocesses lead to great diversity of identities and strategies put up by organizations andindividuals struggling to increase their range of motion and social recognition

What sort of bargaining or devising attitude or even deciding point is to be found in the yarns of the weft of their personal history down through generations when young female students descendants of Maghreb migrant families choose to experiment islam ? So “entry” into religion cannot be regarded as a sudden occurrence. It is an intense dialectical process, of painful separations followed by renewed ties which gives meaning to even shapes identity reconstruction of these young women. Simultaneously, the dialectic also clarifies the complex relationships which the latter have with French society. Here there is no change in religion rather a conversional process marked by an « entrance » in an Islamic religious time and space which is not obvious for them. It is a Muslim religious belonging which the girls choose, as opposed to their family heritage and in the feminist vision of the integration model like “Frenchies”. The typical ideal path of French female students' process to Islam goes through four analytic phases and ultimately raises the issue of a possible emancipation of women structured by religious commitment. The different phases of a religious trajectory examined in our study are as follows: the first phase is one of questioning identity, destabilization of individual identity and rejection of ethnic markers. The second is the phase of adolescence. The third is the exploratory phase of religious possibilities. Finally, the fourth and last phase is a time for religious activism (University/halqa/mosque). Thus, the quest for emancipated behavior, part of a process of modernity, occurs through their religious experiment. among 31 students in Bordeaux, Grenoble and Marseilles

Our subject is two-fold. The 1st aspect is about training : how have primary school-teachers been recruited and trained from the time of the first "écoles normales" to our current "teachers' training colleges" ? Who are they ? through what process do they become primary school teachers ? How did they use to be trained ? How are they trained nowadays ? The 2nd aspect is about being a teacher and deals with individual practices, what teachers actually do in their class and what representations they have of the pupils and of their profession. Our work is an endeavour to link the two. The creation of the IUFM (Teachers' Training Colleges) in 1991 could have occasioned a break because it created a new status among primary school teachers. This idea has been put forward by previous studies which mention a crisis or regret a "golden age". Since 1991, the former teachers who were recruited at an early age, just after the baccalaureate or after only a two-year course at university, have had to work with their new, highly educated, better paid colleagues who have been trained differently. No sign of a crisis has appeared yet. Our thesis is rather that of a continuity, a slow change of a professional body adjusting to new situations. It takes into account 3 variables deemed discriminatory : the length of services, the location and the teachers' professional and social background. It is a sketch of a very old and yet very modern profession

Numerous surveys have found evidence that the education field is going through a difficult period. Since the sixties multiple explanations and analysis are investigated in the world about stress problem. Specific stressors, coping strategies and adjustment criteria are measured. We side with the analysis of Debarbieux (1999) about the issue of no team spirit and a lack of coherence as risk factors for all those who work in a school. Using transactional approach (Lazarus & Folkman, 1984) we attempt to show how individual teachers stress is linked to collective action as social support. We visited 16 primary schools and observed 70 teachers in their classroom then in an interview. We find using a model between psychology (stress theory) and sociology (action theory) that 50% of our population is stressed that is teachers don't control any much their environment (Perceived stress scale, Cohen & Williamson, 1988). Coping strategies are rational action (Weber), self reflection (Giddens), subjectivity (Touraine) and occupational habit (Bourdieu). They are more or less efficient in job solitude , but we found on the other hand that collective action and social support are still unusual, or even absent, sometimes even stress predictor. We purpose therefore for the future healthier schools with occupational working relations to serve a cooperative and united team spirit
