Timothy Hixson (d. 1857), a Hessian soldier serving with the British forces during the Revolutionary War, remained in Virginia after the war, and married married Leah (Lucy) Hanks. They later moved to Fulton County, Pennsylvania. His grandson, Stephen J. Hixson (1832- 1906) married Jary Jane Day (1840-1907). They had six children, 1863-1875, born in Ohio. Lawrence Pierson (1607-1673/4) of Daine Rowe village, Pownall Fee Township, Wilmslow Parish, Cheshire, England, son of Edward Peeresonne, married Anne Worth (d. ca. 1648) in 1643 in Prebury Parish. They had one daughter, born in 1647. He married 2) Elizabeth (Janney?) ca. 1650. They had six children, ca. 1650-1657. Lawrence Pierson joined the Society of Friends (Quakers) ca. 1647. He was buried in Mobberley Quaker Cemetery, Mobberley Parish. Two of his sons immigrated to America and settled in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio and elsewhere. Most descendants spelled their surname Pearson
