1 edition published in 1991 in English and held by 13 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

"Papers have been built for the covers and endsheets of this edition by layering different pulps so that translucent paper is "painted" with opaque fibers. The double-formed sheets of the cover, an opaque sheet skimmed with a translucent sheet, sandwich an improvisation of debris, string, and other bits that create an organic pattern on the cover. Five poems of varying lengths. Darker blue covers and endsheets house grey cotton/flax text sheets and white etching sheets. Two imaginative etchings--one full and one fold-out spread--are printed in color. "--Vamp & Tramp Booksellers website

Giacomo Joyce by James Joyce( Book )

1 edition published in 1989 in English and held by 11 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

Giacomo Joyce is a short story written by James Joyce in 1914, and published posthumously, about the frustrated desire of a teacher - James Joyce himself - for one of his female students. The writing is a compilation of fragments of prose and poetry in which the influences of the East on Trieste's setting and the erotic desire for the female protagonist are omnipresent. A wonderfully rich style both obscures the meaning of the text as well as opens it up for wide interpretation. Great writing, but for some maybe a little enigmatic
