The first of these rare videos is Mabel Normand's 1922 feature Suzanna, once considered lost. Of its original six reels, reels three and five are lost, but the storyline is still essentially complete. The gaps have been filled with explanatory subtitles, so the continuity of the story is uninterrupted. The second subject is the surviving footage of William S. Hart's Riddle Gawne (1918), featuring Lon Chaney as the villain. Only a little more than a reel survives, but it's fascinating footage, and it's a tantalizing look at what must have been a remarkable film. Again, explanatory subtitles have been inserted to make the storyline clear. The third subject is Harold Lloyd's 1918 one-reel comedy, A Sammy in Siberia, essentially intact. All three subjects feature an original organ score by Bob Vaughn
