Analyse dans les espaces métriques by Hervé Pajot( )

9 editions published between 2018 and 2021 in French and Undetermined and held by 733 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

1 edition published in 2015 in English and held by 2 WorldCat member libraries worldwide

This thesis is devoted to results in real harmonic analysis in discrete (graphs) or continuous (Lie groups) geometric contexts.Let Gamma be a graph (a set of vertices and edges) equipped with a discrete laplacian Delta=I-P, where P is a Markov operator.Under suitable geometric assumptions on Gamma, we show the Lp boundedness of fractional Littlewood-Paley functionals. We introduce H1 Hardy spaces of functions and of 1-differential forms on Gamma, giving several characterizations of these spaces, only assuming the doubling property for the volumes of balls in Gamma. As a consequence, we derive the H1 boundedness of the Riesz transform. Assuming furthermore pointwise upper bounds for the kernel (Gaussian of subgaussian upper bounds) on the iterates of the kernel of P, we also establish the Lp boundedness of the Riesz transform for 1<p<2.We also consider the Besov space B{p,q} alpha(G) on a unimodular Lie group G equipped with a sublaplacian Delta. Using estimates of the heat kernel associated with Delta, we give several characterizations of Besov spaces, and show an algebra property for B{p,q} alpha(G) cap L infty(G) for alpha>0, 1leq pleq+infty and 1leq qleq +infty. These results hold for polynomial as well as for exponential volume growth of balls

1 edition published in 2014 in French and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

In this thesis we study some aspects of certain functional spaces. On the one hand we focus on the singularities of maps W^{1, n} with values in the unit sphere S^n, and secondly, on liftings of maps W^{s, p} with values in the circle S^1.The first part concerns the minimization problem of a weighted Dirichlet energy. Admissible maps are functions which are continuous functions outside a given singular set prescribed by the boundary of a rectifiable current. We obtain the exact formula, which improves the result of Alberto, Baldi and Orlando (2003). In the same time, we generalize some results previously obtained by Brezis, Coron, Lieb (1986), Almgren, Browder, Lieb (1988).The second part focuses on the best control of unimodular maps and it is based on the work of Bourgain, Brezis, Mironescu (2000, 2002). Using some known methods and some new ones, we study optimal estimates of seminorms W^{s, p} of liftings, for different values of s and p. We also obtain a new characterization of the space W^{s, p} for s<1 in terms of dyadic seminorm

Quelques problèmes inverses avec des données partielles by Dmitry Ponomarev( )

1 edition published in 2016 in English and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

The thesis consists of three parts. In Part I, we consider partially overdeterminedboundary-value problemS for Laplace PDE in a planar simply connected domain withLipschitz boundary. Assuming Dirichlet and Neumann data available on its part to be realvaluedfunctions of certain regularity, we develop a non-iterative method for solving thisill-posed Cauchy problem choosing as a regularizing parameter L2 bound of the solutionon complementary part of the boundary. The present complex-analytic approach alsonaturally allows imposing additional pointwise constraints on the solution which, onpractical side, can help incorporating outlying boundary measurements without changingthe boundary into a less regular one. Part II is concerned with spectral structure of atruncated Poisson operator arising in various physical applications. We deduce importantproperties of solutions, discuss connections with other problems and pursue differentreductions of the formulation for large and small values of asymptotic parameter yieldingsolutions by means of solving simpler integral equations and ODEs. In Part III, we dealwith a particular inverse problem arising in real physical experiments performed withSQUID microscope. The goal is to recover certain magnetization features of a sample frompartial measurements of one component of magnetic field above it. We develop newmethods based on Kelvin and Fourier transformations resulting in estimates of netmoment components

1 edition published in 2020 in French and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

1 edition published in 2020 in French and held by 1 WorldCat member library worldwide

We study the boundedness in Lp norm of some functionals linked to evolution equations. The functions we are interested in are the Littlewood-Paley-Stein functionals and are originally defined for the Laplacian on {R}^N by H(f)(x) = left( int_0^infty | e^{-tDelta} f|^2 {d}tight)^{1/2}. The functional H is bounded on Lp for any p in (1,+infty), but this is not the case on manifolds. More precisely, we are interested in the study of Littlewood-Paley-Stein functionals for Schrödinger's operators and Hodge-de Rham's laplacian on non-compact Riemannian manifolds. They are defined by formulas similar to the one introduced by Stein. We are also interested in the problem which motivated the study of these functions, that of the continuity in standard Lp of the Riesz transform L^{-1/2} and d^* LF^{-1/2} and the interactions between these two problems. We first study the functionals associated with Schrödinger's operators or Hodge-de Rham's laplacian outside the usual framework of Gaussian kernel estimation of heat and doubling varieties. We obtain a positive result analogous to the unconditional boundedness of H over L^p for p in (1.2]. In a second step, we study the links between the boundedness of these Littlewood-Paley-Stein functions for the Schrödinger operator and that of the Riesz transform e^{-tL}. We show that the {R}-boundedness of the families of operators { sqrt{t} sqrt{V} e^{-tL}, t geq 0} and { sqrt{t} abla e^{-tL}, tgeq 0 } is equivalent to the boundedness of H_L, and also implies generalized Littlewood-Paley-Stein estimates. Finally, we study the boundedness of conical square functions within the framework of Schrödinger operators on manifolds
