The Lehman Family Papers provide details of an extended family in Pittsburgh over several generations. The collection consists of correspondence, diaries, albums, memorial resolutions, programs, and photographs. Most items reflect personal details of family members and their activities rather than business dealings. Of note are letters written in the 1970s to Bessie Frank from Teddy Kollek, who was the mayor of Jerusalem from 1965 to 1993. Approximately half of the bulk of the collection consists of memorial resolutions and condolence letters and telegrams upon the death of Albert C. Lehman. These are from family friends as well as business associates. The collection also includes two scrapbooks by Jane Anathan Lehman, which include a variety of materials, the majority of which are playbills, tickets, and telegrams from Alan G. Lehman. Folders are arranged alphabetically, by family. Oversize materials are housed seperately, and a scrapbook belonging to Jane Anathan Lehman has been stored in folders
